aviation bro, there has to be some underlying reason for the carsh. as you mentioned, the bird would have been chopped into pieces and people are also speculating that the aircraft may have been carrying more load than the limit. if the aircarft was overloaded, as soon as the engine failed it must have spun out of control.

NTSB would most likely not be a part of this investigation since there is only 1 American fatality but i wish they would take part. i heard that a British team is confirmed and Chinese investigation team is deciding whether to join the team in Nepal.

i do not know how the aviation training works in Nepal but I sure do hope that pilots are recurrent on their aircarft and have recurring training upto par.

Heres another instance when a bird is sucked into a jet engine on take off. The plane takes off with one operational engine and lands safely.
