Like Adhikari bandhu said, I don't think it will be extinct. But it's very sad how our gullible brothers and sisters are duped by many of these missionaries. It will create civil unrest in Nepal for sure unless somebody stops this nonsense. For all I know unity comes from similarities related to language religion culture etc and when you introduce a western culture and religion which philosophically is very different than ours it will create a rift. I see this as a western takeover of the world where everybody is made a slave of the western society and end up destroying their cultures and values. Christianity has it's pros and cons as any other religions. I had christian friends in Nepal who used to go to temple with us and were really tolerant. And there were neo-converts to christianity who were to say at the least really stupid that they put god before their family and were willing to sacrifice their families when it came to religion. In my opinion it's plain stupid when religion comes before logic and humanity and to promote those kind of behavior is an utter disgrace when it comes to religion. Hinduism has flaws, but most hindus are very tolerable and accept other religions as if it were their own. Because we believe that god has many forms and it doesn't matter whether it's called Shiva, Jesus, Allah or whatever. I think that thought itself is very noble and peaceful and in this time of global crisis where Muslims Christians and Jews are killing each other it makes total sense. Anyway long story short, We should not try to find flaws in Hinduism but try to filter out the bad things like caste system and such from our society. Once we filter out those imperfections, we will revere our religion much more and it will better fit with the 21st century lifestyle. Right now it may seem that Christianity and Islam are winning but that's all because of evolution (people change) which is the universal truth. Someday evolution will replace religions with Agnosticism/Atheism, people will hopefully realize how stupid it is to fight over religion and accept the reality that they need to live in peace or else become extinct.
