Don't be a dumbass. There is no MBBS degree in the US. Either you get MD or you don't.
Indeed that 40% of students being Indians sounds quite high. Only valid rationale there could be that they pay full tuition which subsidizes the tuition for the deserving Nepali students.
It's good to hear that medical field there has developed significantly, but I still would not trust any doctors from Nepal. Know-how might be emerging, just somewhat, but professionalism is sorely lacking. Anybody who has had surgery done in Kathmandu would know what I am talking about.
