I think there is a deeper psychology associated. It could be a simple disgust of the partner or she actually wanted to tell her friend that she didn't 'lik'e the dude. She agreed to dance first, but later realized that her friend might draw up a conclusion here and Nepali Mentality (which is not necessarily bad) prevailed. It is her way of saying that, even though she danced with the guy, it doesn't mean she likes the guy.
