i know few people who went back too. they were sons and daughter of big arse corruputed politicans who barely got crappy degrees and in their crappy majors. most of them are working in high class jobs. i don't know anyone who has genuinely went back to Nepal  to develope the country. i knew an uncle who's dead and went back to Nepal back in 70s thiniking he would make a change. but our society doesn't care or respect to the honest people. our society talks and show great respects to corrputed people. whoever is good at sucking the poor people's money he becomes a "khandani" all of a sudden and receives tremendeous respect in the society. as far as taking care of old parents goes, i don't see the ones in Nepal are doing a great job either. most of them want to sell their parentsays land and live lazy lavish lives anyways. i would rather live in a nice clean nurshing home and get proper medical and care than to be burden on other family members. it's not easy living in USA for froigners. language problems, job prospects, assilimation, being away from friends and family , away from your culture are the few problems . if someone lives with all these problems hoping that their children and them will have a better life then why isthat out Nepali society is always trying to make them feel like losers. 
vsome of our ansistors in Nepal came from mongolia, some china, some India, before that even in those countries they came from somewhere else, as mammals we always move for better live, from one place to another, why is it wrong all of a sudden? it's good if some are returning to Nepal but let's also respect all those hardworking Nepalis who are lving away from Nepal and making their honest lving for their better present and future.
