What happened there?

The story this perv is posting seems like a real deal to me. I have also been a boarder while a student back in the day. I have seen teachers molesting in a guise of calling the prettier female students "chhori" and I have also seen male teachers actually inserting the hand into male students' pockets and squeezing the nuts. May be they were not ill-intentioedn in these instances with respect to what I knew of Nepalese society back then and what I know of a Western society now. But I have seen female staff in the school having inappropriate relationship with students and staff members having indiscreet affairs in the manner that would permeate into the young minds' gossip circle. The most troubling ones are those that concern students staying in the hostel that are lured into illicit early education in sex with the teachers who are entrusted with the task to not only educate, read/write/speak English fluently but also to discipline and instill healthy qualities into the students that would last a lifetime.

With no custom of background check on new staff-hires, no accountability on the school/hostel management side, and no policing or whistle-blowing, the elusive pedophiles have been having a field-day since the infancy of so-called English Medium Boarding Schools in Nepal. Such accounts need to be brought to the fore-front of the challenges and threats that parents and student face in the education sector. PABSON needs to deal with this very constructively too not just lobby for their financial interest. The media, including TV, publications, movies need to cover the issue as it is and offer some solutions. Most of all, the custom of keeping young children in boarding schools is not just waste of money but also a serious threat to the children's emotional and physical well-being.
