Preeti, I understand that you aren't very fond of Bush from your previous postings, but that doesn't mean that you should be creating your own facts to deceive others. I can explain why each of your so called facts aren't actually facts at all, but rather just a poorly thought-out, and extremely fallacious, list of Bush's failings. But let me just correct some of your facts for now, and will be happy to shed light on the others too, if you are interested. Whatever made you believe that Bush is to blame for the flagging economy and soaring unemployment, you are wrong. Think about when the downturn began in the US economy. It was only a couple of months after he got into office. And if you believe he messed up the economy during that period, i have nothing to say, for no sensible person believes that to be the case. The economy had overheated while Clinton was in office, and the downturn was part of the economic cycle that the US economy would have to go through, no matter who was in office, even if it was your fav Kerry, so to speak. And think about the policies that Bush enacted while in office. Tax cuts and huge cuts in interest rates both contributed to bringing a recovery and employment to masses of people. Blaming Bush just because he happened to be in office while the economy started suffering from previous excesses doen't sit well with me, and countless other people who do have an economic sense. And I don't get how you managed to blame Bush for Enron and Worldcom collapse, when both happened as a result of standards that had been in place for deacades bfore Bush started office. I simply dont get the connection. Hope this is enough for now. I would love to hear what you have to say on the points I just noted. .....enough of Kerry and Bush for me now...I'd better start thinking abt girija and makune now....the nepal premi that i am...
