Your Majesty, There are only two ways to change a System. 1) Either the politicians (or ruling class) allow the citizens to Vote or 2) the Citizens take the matters in their own hand via a street movement. In Nepal, the person who wanted to hold an election was you. You wanted the then Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba to hold AN election but Deuba wanted to continue his tenure. So, you fired him. You fired ALL subsequent governments formed for their inability or unwillingness to hold election. Eventually, the politicians defamed you as a dictator and you also left the Citizens in the worst politicians’ hand. Today, after almost 10 years of your firing of Deuba government, Nepal has still not held a parliamentary election. Your Majesty, Citizens have been constantly denied their “Right to Vote”. Each politician has agreed to rule for few months so that their circle of politics continues. Your Majesty, DO YOU WANT THE CITIZENS TO TAKE THE MATTER TO STREET? Where is the Citizen’s Civil Rights and “Right to Vote’?
Politicians, If you are reading this forum, DO YOU WANT THE PEOPLE TO COME ON THE STREET? LET PEOPLE VOTE. LET PEOPLE DECIDE WHETHER THEY WANT MONARCHY OR REPUBLIC. LET PEOPLE DECIDE WHO SHOULD BE PRIME MINISTER OR PRESIDENT. LET PEOPLE DECIDE WHO SHOULD BE ATTORNEY GENERAL. LET PEOPLE DECIDE WHAT SYSTEM THEY WANT. LET PEOPLE DECIDE WHAT TO DO WITH NEPALESE AFFAIRS.
ENOUGH IS ENOUGH FOR EVERYTHING. PEOPLE HAVE TOLERATED, BUT THE TOLERANCE IS UNCONTROLLABLE NOW.
