Thanks "Lyause" for letting us know what you had to go through.

Recently, I also called around 10 to 12 Nepali institutions here in the US if they could find me the cheapest ticket to KTM. Few of the things that lack in our fellow Nepali business people is professionalism, punctuality, and of course integrity as mentioned in Lyause's original thread. Most of the businesses I called didn't even know how to answer the call and introduce themselves to the caller (which was me) and introduce their business. They would simply say "hello" as if they were on their cell phones. Ridiculous!! Anyways, after a couple of days of research by myself, I found out the quotes I was getting myself from online retailers like Priceline, Expedia, Cheapoair, etc. were far cheaper than those Nepali guys. Then I booked it myself for the cheapest advertised price, also I could pick my own seats on all 4 flights I would be flying in.

So, the message here is, don't trust them just because they have a business. Give it a try on your own. It might take you a day or two to understand how the flight booking system works, like it was the case for me, but more often then not you will get a fair/cheaper deal on the Internet. But, also remember, not all Internet retailers are genuine. I have come to know there are several of them that are fraud.

Hope it helps!!
