WARNING:
American opportunity credit is only for first 4 years of college or for Undergraduate studies. If you're a graduate student, you're not suppose to claim that. Also, you need to have 1098 T in order to legally file it. Rest is just a luck.
If you get audited by IRS, your a** will be raped and they can go and check last 3 years tax return and you'll end up paying Penalty.
