A concept of foreign policy think tank for Nepal

 Hello everyone

I am a student of International Relations. I along with some of my friends majoring in International Studies, International Relations, and Political Science are planning to set up an online platform (like a blog) to discuss on foreign policy issues of Nepal. Beginning with a blog, we aim to set up a think tank in near future. Our job will be to study on foreign relations wtth our neighbors and other global powers, and routinely provide foreign policy suggestions to Nepal government.

Given the lack of skilled human resource in this field, Nepal's foreign relations with other countries (not only India and China) have been in disarray for long time now. The government think tank called "Institute of Foreign Affairs" (under Ministry of Foreign Affairs) is heavily politicized, and has been lukewarm in carrying out its assigned tasks. I am totally unaware of any think tanks from non-public sector working on the issue.

Using this platform of Nepalis abroad, I would like to ask you guys for help. If any of you are undergraduates or graduates in Political Science related subjects, please contact me. Even if you are not, you can still spread the words to whoever you know are studying those subjects.

Best regards,
Biplav
