Get what you're saying but if you love her, you gotta suck it up. In today's age, it is atypical for a guy or a girl to 'save her/his virginity' and what not. You're a virgin, good on you but your idea and desire isn't a sensible one. 

I'm assuming that you live in the US. I'd try and assimilate. Unless she was someone who used to sleep around, I wouldn't worry about it.
