Back in the school days, we used to have a story, of which I don't recall the story and the characters precisely but there was a statement that goes: "John was happy and gay." Back then our understanding of the sentence was John's was happy and glad that his days were good. Now this sentence seems to have a tendency to reflect different meaning. Actually I use this sentence for fun and of course by changing the name to fit the character. What do u think guys? Do u think this sentence still holds the meaning it used to have?
