I am in 2nd year PhD and Biological Sciences and i am thinking of quitting it and moving to different field. What can be done in such case? What are my choices ? I don't think this Biological Science/Research stuff is for me. I wasn't really sure when i enrolled in the program & now i am so frustrated. I almost feel like i am doing some non-sense research in lab looking at animals, flies and all other crap.

Can i ask my advisers to grant me Masters and quit ? Please suggest.
