Very engaging pieces, behoove_me.

On a reflective note, I have often wondered who has changed more - Nepal or the returning expatriate? Perhaps many people might argue Nepal but I think the perspectives of Nepalese outside Nepal (and to some extent within the country) has changed as much if not more than the country itself. Sometimes I feel nothing much has changed in Nepal if you look beyond the obvious things like urban crowding and political upheaval. Political change has not produced  proportionate change in the social and other arenas. Not yet at least. It is ironic that in a country that has had something like 21 governments in 20 years, constancy and continuity are as pervasive as they are outside the political sphere.

Just a thought.
