Well, I'd say its a sexist topic. Both men and women cheat and there is no concrete reason for your question.
However, if a man/woman is betrayed by his/her woman/men then it is obvious that the man/woman will try to stick with a self-proclaimed principle against woman/man. He/she tries to console himself/herself that every woman/man is like that.
