 Few more things to note

1) The "Quality of Life index" (by the United Nations) puts Canada as one of the three best countries in the world to live in - USA is number 24 on the same scale.
2) Canada has no handguns and a far lower crime rate, among the lowest in the world.
3) Canada has a totally free and universal health care system (NO CHARGES, no bills - ever) which makes Canadians to the second longest living nation on Earth, only surpassed by Japan. Canadians live on average 2.5 years longer than Americans.
4) Canada's poverty rate (using the same statistical data) is approximately 1/2 of USA's at 9 % vs 17 % in the US.
5) Canada exports oil to the USA 
6) Canada does not have quite the same disparity between the very rich, and the very poor seen in the USA. 

Other notable things you come accross in your daily life
1) Unlimited internet per month costs about 35-40 bucks, comes with triple play plan also 99 including all 3.
2) Gas price is about $1.06 per litre.
3) Many toll free highways
4) Easy government loan for education.
5) Many stars like Avril Lavigne, Justin Beiber, Hitman (WWE star), Celine Dion, Jim Carrey are from Canada.
6) Less obesity in people
7) Less illegal immigrants
8) You will find best buy, walmart, costco, toy r us, staples, target everything. 
9) You can drive with US vehicle license (no need to take any exams)
10) You will start leaving your drinking habit, liquor is expensive, for 12 packs of corona you will pay about 22 bucks.

More things to share but I don't have it right on my head now
