Its good to find people who have done some research before blindly  posting on sajha.

below are my suggestion:
  • You can always correspond to the lawyer and get more info. However, Its better if you apply by yourself. (why to pay the third party). You got your MS degree and you know how to get things done. Even canadian government encourages people to apply on their own. Please visit their official site for more details For ex: http://www.cic.gc.ca/
  • I know its time consuming and boring to go through the documents and instruction mentioned in the website. However, its worth to do that. Even if you are going through the lawyers, I know you have to go through the same hassle. Hence I strongly advice you to apply by yourself.
  • Make sure how much points do you accumulate. ( i suppose its 67 or w/e). If you are married then I bet you dont have to worry about the points provided your education and career achievements. If you are single then its time to think to get married and secure your application. Just a safe advise.  Good for both of you :)
  • If you can, get advice from someone who is already there in Canada. Your post to sajha itself is indeed a good step from you.
