Kiddo: This time I read your comments carefully. You said it what I wanted to say -- "…. everybody would be at fault as everybody does some kind of petty crime and that doesn't mean they cannot point fingers...” So what is wrong if Ms. Sherpa is pointing finger at that crook Nepalese officer, Mr. Basnet?
Everone, even a heinous convicted criminal has right not to be unjustifiably victimized by anyone, let alone by a government officer!
I hope you are not suggesting that it is ok for crook like Mr. Basnet to swindle someone who is a convicted criminal. Your only complaint is Mr. Sherpa got GC thru asylum and you automatically assumed that must have been thru illegitimate means! Quoting Vasudev- “it is neither concern nor job of Nepalese government or Mr. Basnet for that matter to check legality of asylum case of Ms. Sherpa's husband even if that is way how he got GC. If US has approved it, without evidence you cannot question it.”
I think I am trying to understand your argument, but trust me, what Mrs. Sherpa went through at TIA by that crook officer has nothing to do with how her husband got GC.
I watched and listened to the video of this crook Basnet and was appalled how he described a Pariyar family lamenting all night at the TIA, because this poor family could not come up with enough bribe to satisfy this crook. Did you even try to feel the pain of this Pariyar family? (Watch from 3:26 to 4:05 in the following video – this idiot calls Pariyar family – तल्लो जातको - someone from low caste --Stupid guy!
