I will certainly look into it.. I did come across rose india..but they were more into solving a\specific programs then elaborating on the basics and looking to build on it.

I am not looking for any certifications but just wanted to be proficient in JAVA...most prolly I'll just get a copy of THinking in JAVA by Bruce Eckel and dig onto it.
