This is what 30 times more stronger quake than Sept 18th quake means.
6.8 RS quake will release 240 KIlotons ( 1.0 PJ ) of energy.
Inorder to have 30 times more effect, (30* 240 = 7200) kilotons or ( 30.0 PJ ) of energy has to be released with the quake of magnitude between 7.7 to 7.8. as
7.7 RS will release 5.4 megatons ( 22 PJ ) &
7.8 RS will release 7.6 megatons (32 PJ ) of energy.
It may not have widespeaded effect around the world but It surely may wipe out 80 % of KTM's building structure.
