5 to 10 years after graduation, you too will be making similar amount. Don't worry.
Income:
Take home pay: $6500
Expenses:
Mortgage + home insurance + property tax: $2450
Utilities (gas, electricity, water): $350
Cable TV + Internet: $95
Cell phone: $75
Groceries: $500
Gas (2 vehicles, already fully paid): $130
Insurance for both vehicles: $100
Dining and Entertainment, includes Netflix: $500
Clothing and misc. shopping: $200
Additional misc. expenses: $600
Send to Nepal: $500
Allocation for vacation: $700
Charitable givings: $300
Total expenses: $6500 (give or take few hundred, but averages to this).
Savings: $0 (well, not counting the 401K that I max out every year).
Come to think of, I could probably save more with half the salary working in Kathmandu, eh?
