pshrestha your interpretation is so unreasonable. Out Of close to 30,000,000 Nepalese (source of population count: Google)
You know 2 people who were not good and thats your basis of laughing on my friend, the owner to be "simple and innocent haha" ?
Its similar to saying, I know 2 people who are not so nice so you must be a bad person too.

And ok, I also know such not Nepalese but Indian owners who do those kind of things, BUT!
Why are the people who only want to see this owner as some bad person not ready to go and meet him and know for yourself?

And Owner does NOT give out free food, its a misinterpretation.
Chai and Papad are called COMPLIMENTARY FOOD not Free Food.
I said I am so regular, that sometime he doesnot charge us (me and my friend) for some one appetizer or a naan as a happy gesture.
He is doing business afterall not charity.
Why did I mention this? Because some girl from Kathmandu thinks he must be greedy. And to reply to it that I know he is not I told this.
Its not that she comes here and find this guy offering free food just so that she stops her hatred.

I will say 2 simple things again:

1. You think owner is not innocent and simple but greedy businessman - then come to the restaurant meet him peacefully and learn yourself.

2. If you do come, please be well behaved and sit down to talk/discuss rather than resorting to any display of hatred. Or else you may attract lot of unwanted attention and some onlooker may call cops, this area is under regular police surveillance- Mostly due to 2 very recent criminal incidents in this area.

But I am sure, rather than sitting somewhere demonizing someone to be so bad and all, you could go and see them and realize reality.

And I am confident if you do come, you'll carry yourself in most dignified and lawful way.

Again, owner seems to me as a very simple guy, I am sure he is not a tremendously intelligent scholar or seomthing, and he gives away so much free food that I dont think he is greedy either.
And I think I am more correct than Sanee, because she is just 'thinking' I go to this restaurant almost once or twice in a week.
