I smell some overreaction here..
"My Nepali friends,I missed my flight to go to Kathmandu today.I forgot to bring my passport as I didn't consider Nepal a foreign country!"
For someone that has no "motherland" to claim a shelter under, I see this as nothing more than an emotional note. There is no indication of Nepal being a "part" of anything on that statement! It's a shame how we take such things so personally and reach the extent of absurdity in reacting!!

I don't know this woman except for her name and that she's a writer. I haven't read any of her books or heard her speech. But I do feel her words...
"Constantly flying. I feel like a bird. My home is the sky. Days go by, I'm afraid of getting close to land."
People, give her a break -- and try interpreting words before jumping into conclusions.
