i dont come from an agricultural background but i  have been thinking about helping farmers make maximum out of their efforts because majority of our country is engaged in farming and these are hard working people..now what i would do is research about what else can be farmed in climate like ours that has high demand in the international market..i dont know anything as of yet..but lets say "yarchagumba". i would go to the village farming people give them tools and knowledge about farming and harvesting these valauables and buy it from them in bulk at their own price and sell them in the international market..doing so im not doing charity..nepali people dont need charity.. because nepali people are not  incapable of working..they just need work..so what im thinking is doing some job generating work..basically what im saying is nepal need enterprenuers..so next thinng i would do is lets say go to gorkha...teach them about growing oranges more efficiently buy all their oranges at thier price ..set up an orange juice factory in gorkha..let local people work there..sell the finished orange juice  in domestic  or international market...other day i read a news from somewhere in terai, that a nepali guy when in his europe tour..l came to know about ostrich farming..which has high demand in international market..he came back home researched about the possibilities and has jumped into it..that is what we need..enterpreneurs..


so these are just few things i just came up with..the whole point of laying it out here is just sharing..maybe i  will  or wont do these things..but someone who has more knowledge about  what does great in thier local climate might come up with just another great idea..and i think  ideas when shared expands exponentially.........we all should contribute in generating jobs so that basic necessities(gaas baas kabas) of the mojority of people are met with ease... only when your basics are met people start thinking about other improvements in thier life...then comes realization of  the need of education, knowledge, lifestyle and so on..then people will pull themselves up by their own bootstrap...our people dont need sympathy or aid dollars....they need work!
