We Nepalese need to watch this!

I had a big lump in my throat watching the full video. It's totally disheartening. I feel sorry for their loss. I hope they get strength to move forward, but I can't console myself seeing their condtion. I feel deluded in thinking the word 'hope' as something even remotely tangible.

Isn't it pathetic that the whole disaster could have been avoided if the government had done something before that incident ? It's not worth my words talking about these eunuchs in power, whose Pancha Barsiya Yojana keeps on extending indefinitely. And knowing that there are hundreds of villages living precariously under same conditions scares me about impending disasters. Are these villagers supposed to sulk and accept grim reality and wait for the imminent calamity to happen ? We are indeed poor, better yet destitutes. Not only we lack financial capital, but also we lack morality.

The kid who survived metaphorically describes our country. If he hadn't jumped he would have been dead. We need to jump out of this turmoil before there is a solution or a serious resolve from our political machine- for we all know these people will jump first like rats out of the sinking ship.

I am in a verge of losing my sanity. Sometimes, I just wish i would just not see/read news from Nepal - 95% of time I am sure I would be disappointed. Unfortunately, I can't bury my head under sand like an Ostrich and pretend oblivious of condition in Nepal.

Sabaile Pashupatinath ko rakshya garun.
