Thanks Stiffler,
I have a terminal degree in Biological sciences (say geography - emaphasizing on natural resource conservation/preservation) using software programs to analyze data and produce results. .Net, C++, Java, Python, SQLServer are few of the programmings that are the crux of the software programs that I used for my studies. And without the in depth knowledge of some of the aforementioned programming languages, its tough to find a job. And programming is something that I wanna do in the future.
Hence, I am on the verge of making a decision that would impact the rest of my life - hopefully a positive impact.
I might take IT and other business side by side - my spouse would handle the latter while I would do both. IT would help me to bolster my existing skills and after few (at least 5) years of exp. I plan to come back to academia.
