@Rachhas, I agree with you, but I am asking from the poster's point of view more than the voters. I have voted for the said kid in the past, I just don't know why people ask for it. Curious, that's all.
@pichas, Not sure if this is Nepali only mentality. A few of my coworkers have asked this and they aren't Nepali. I sense that the parents get sense of pride when their kids win the title; but wouldn't it be a more proud moment if the vote was received by the merit of the kid rather than the ability of the parents to garner the votes?
