Many times here in sajha you will see a thread asking to vote for the posters son/daughter/niece/nephew. We have obliged because we wanted to help Nepali community.
But I always wonder what the point about this all is, and wonder if you guys feel the same.
I mean, most of the time the kids are toddler or infants, who don’t even know what’s going on. So who are we pleasing then? The parents? And pleasing how? Not by being honest but just voting because he/she asked for it. To me that’s like starting a random poll and asking to pick option A, no matter what that option is.
Not trying to be disrespectful, I am just curious if anybody else feels that way.
