Republican extremists aside, some people are hugely disappointed with Obama for not fulfilling his promises.
I am not one of them and here's why.
First of all, the president cannot do it all, the congress has been a huge impediment on every deal brought to the floor; Obama had to negotiate or risk losing the whole thing.

Another bone of contention is on military presence in Iraq. I rather support a president who analyzes the situation and is willing to backtrack for the best of his country than hold on to his promise. We, as commoner, aren't privy to the information that the president has; there has to be a reason why 50K+ troop is required there. Sure some would say it is because the lobbyist and businesses that supply food/services to the troop who want it there; I will give Obama a benefit of doubt and believe that's not the case.

He hasn't come through on many other promises; but it takes time and priorities need to be sorted out. Changes in financial legislation and housing market are those that should be looked after next, then will come immigration policy. This president has achieved much more than what people (and media) give him credit for. This is the best we can get in the polarized politics of Dems and Reps; something that has worked for America in last over 150 years.
