I think this is a fake story and she made a fool of lots of people including the president and PM. The journalist who broke out this news for the first time should also be investigated.

Anuja (and any official) can track the person from her (mobile) call log (the number she contacted earlier to give the money back). If call log is deleted, she can ask her phone company to track the outgoing call records. This will certainly track the person (and his location) who took this money.
