@anon: if u go generalizing bahun n chettri u jus lost 50 percent of nepals population.

Sir, could you please explain where this number 50 has come from?

Current population statistics approximates the numbers to
12.5 % Bahun
16.5%  Chhetri
Total 29%.

This total percentage is going to decline to about 20 ~ 25% in the coming census result, why? because

1) Large number of bahun have migrated to USA and other countries. Nepal decided to delist migrated population.
2) Chhetri and Magar share common surname, which will be properly categorized next time.
3) Rapid population growth in Muslim due to uncontrolled birth, and infiltration from south.

As the debate over proportional represenation intensifies, Nepal's leaders may put a rule to include only those people who are physically present in the country at the time of census data collection. This is just my guess. If my guess comes true, then there is going to be huge change in the census result. Just keep watching.

Based on the past history of hachuwaa decision and rules made by bahun-led government, it is sure that any kind of rules may come into effect in Nepal. Nepal's constitution making entity - CA is the play-doll of a couple of Bahuns - Prachanda, Baburam, Jhalanath, Oli, Ramchandra, Sushil koirala, who can make any rules if they sit together.  Just see how 3 million people were added in the population statistics without  a proper and strict mechanism to verify the root of new citizens. Jus see how Nepal considers its own citizen as non resident NRN because they are out of country for just 6 months (183 days exactly) no matter which citizenship / passport they carry or which immigration status you hold. They later ammended the rule to exclude Nepal-government staffs working in foreign soil and students, however, if you earn something out of country, then you can be classified as non-resident. For now, this non-resident status may be attractive to enjoy some facilities that the government has provided, but, as soon as you enjoy the facility, you are admitting that you are a NON-RESIDENT even if you are a citizen. For any reason, if Nepal decides to separate Non-resident from statistics and from voting right, you can do nothing.
