I have also heard the stories that Maoist used to put on Army dress and torture people to defame the Nepal Army. Everyone knows the atrocities caused by the Maoists. You can try to put the blame on the Nepal Army but the facts are spilling out one by one that most of the heinous crimes were commited by the Maoists. I won't say the Army were completely innocent, but compared to many Army in many other countries with similar situation, Nepal Army deserved credit for letting the politicians decide the politics. You bet, Katawal could have taken the power or killed thousands of people during the protests. But, he stood by ther political leaders orders.

Enough said about the past, I want to look to future and I do see some light in Katawal's leadership. You can disagree, but he is a genuine Nepali leader, talks like a Nepali from his heart and is capable of challenging the likes of Prachande.

But, sad to see that you believe the country is in better position because of the Maoists today than 5-10 years ago. Either you live in a hole in NY/DC/Texas or you live in Maoists cantonment fed by our remittance money. Otherwise, I dont see how you could be supporting the same people who turned off our lights so that Indian looters can come in and loot us.
