You all are giving him ideas on how to file taxes. To file taxes one should make certain amount of money, second they have to qualify as defined by IRS code sections . If he is working on OPT he cant file taxes. He don't qualify, period. If some of you have done that and worked for you doesn't mean you're are right. You committed fraud and and you are encouraging him to commit fraud. You smart arse facebook go and check publication 17 on IRS website. There should be like 5 criteria to file taxes and you should meet all those criteria and if one doesn't apply to you the that's it.
So think about the consequences in the future. Even if the IRS don't find about this USCIS will find about this in the future and instead of giving you green card they will open your file and investigate every details and charge with fraud. Have you ever thought about that ?
