Yeah you are absolutely right, do you remember "Mahendra Mala" book which was introduced during his time. I wonder if the present generation still read that book or not. 

Nepal started using Nepali currency during King Mahendra's time. District and anchal was introduced during his time, you can see how scientific was his vision of connecting himal, pahad and madhesh in one anchal. 

King Mahendra's contribution was immense in education sector too. School such as "Budhanilkantha" was introduced during his time, that school used to select student from whole Nepal. Students from jumla and humla had an oppurtunity to go to that school.  

During his time he sent medical and engineering student to pursui masters and undergraduate degree from the then Soviet Union. 

Nepal was divided into five bikash chhetra during his time, which looks really scientific to me. 

Nepal laai duniyaako saamu chinaaune ra nepaali laai nepaali bhanera chinaaunemaa raajaa mahendrako thulo bhumikaa chha..
