no you are not being harsh , you are being honest. if you solely go by per capita then you are wrong. Nepal has a very low per capita income but look at thepeople in kathmandu. American has a very high per capita income but there are still people who live on the streets. it is totally up to you, at least in Nepal. if it was afganisthan or north korea ,pakisthan i would understand but Nepal , come on. it's her choice if she choses to be a slave of 8 children in that cold country or pursue her carrer in Nepal, even India because Nepalis can freely work in India. I have no problem her getting her residency but when she lies about force marriage then she is blaming Nepali society, labelling us opressors to women and cruel people, which is not the turth. If she had made stories about maoists then she would be labelling a particular group but she labelled the tradition which includes everyone including me and lots of other Nepalis who are liberal to women. There is a belief in Nepali society that any place in the world would be better than staying in Nepal for Nepali which is exactly opposite and quiet sadely lots of Nepalis don't understand that until they fully run the reputation of their country and their prime time.
