u're not only alone guys.. same here wid me as well! my spoken English was better in Nepal than it is here. I've been staying here in US for almost 5 yrs. I wonder how some of my friends speak so fluently without having any Nepali accent, we can't figure out if they're from Nepal or US? I think the bottom line here is, it is all about our childhood, what kind of school we went to, whether we used English over there or if we've listened English songs and bla bla bla. But it's never too late to do anything, that means we'll be able to achieve our goal but it's gonna take some time and hard effort. Hope we'all will be in the position where we could speak like every other Nepalese or even like Americans. So let's put our effort to improve our American Accent!
Also one thing I've noticed at work is that most people comment me on my voice, They say that I speak in low voice. Does this thing also happening to some of you out there? If people are far and they ask me something, I shout at them with all my highest voice but they still say, "What?"
