Unless you have long established credit history, its hard to get with big credit line. Try Citi bank, If you are student, they have one and i guess they can give you 1500- couple of thousands. Do you have job? how much money do you make? that will also make the difference.

*** I started with 1500 Citi card for students about 5 yrs ago and now I have more than 15,000 credit line with them and few other cards making it somewhere around 30,000 total credit line plus 15,000+ car loan. So, it all depends on credit history and how good are you on payment.
