Dude: its simple: the More you make, the more you pay the taxas. you can deduct other personal expanses, but it wont help you much as u r making lot of money. 

 if ur singel, have no kids and make 55000 per year. its very hard for u to get money back if u try it on your own thru free tax filing software like turbo tax, unless ur a tax expert. why dont u go to the professional tax helpers as turbo tax is only good for people like us, who makes 30000 per year .
