answer is it will work..

but i think the firmware it use now i guess is 4.2.1 and firmware is the latest..

you can jailbreak it with the IPAD firmware that will be 6.15.00

now here is the problem.. it will work just fine..

but when you get the message and try to view it.. the springboard will crash..

but you can do it by closing the instant message and go to homescreen and opening it.. it works good but more step to follow..

you cannot use the multitasking.. if you do it.. springboard crashes as well..

some of the apps don';t work good if it needs 4.2 just like HITSFM for me.. it just shuts down on the jailbroken iphone..

it has lot of problem.. but for me i can make the adjustment.. I don't know about you guys.. and if you are thinking about verizon which might use CDMA.. then i think it will be useless.. But i am not sure they have dual CDMA/SIM system same as blackberry storm 2..

Choice is yours.. Iphone 4 can be jailbroken and used in nepal.. but consider the drawback until there is the update in the jailbreaking procedure..
