terobaje,

I do not prefer commenting on personal relations but you brought it here. I feel sorry for you to get tied with a girl from the most racist community. Well, don't take it seriously hai.

Many khas shrimaans of newar girl proudly mention that they have married a newar girl and know both culture, but I have never read a newar shrimaans announcing that he has married with a khas-girl and know the culture. One may think, may be the newar dude is racist, but then how did he marry a khas-girl? or, is there some other reason? An intercomparison study of khas-shrimaan+Newar-shrimati and Khas-shrimati+Newar-shrimaan could be an interesting research issue.

Although you did not mention clearly, it seems to me, you are accepted by your in-laws. My relative (uncle), who married a khas girl, has never made a chance to visit his in-laws. I don't want to generalize these individual experiences because there could be many reasons behind the acceptance and rejection. However, think about the change in your life in case your in-laws had refused you. Your in-laws community is the most racist for you besides accepting you right? That shows what a true-you are.

"WILL BURN A TOWN IF A NEWAR OF A HIGHER CASTE MARRY A NEWAR OF LOWER CASTE......Dangol (jyapu) will never be allowed to marry a (shahi) kasai.......most newars dont like SHRESTHA cast.."
This statement is "poisonous" at best and exaggerated beyond the proportion otherwise. I have friends married-intercast among Newars and living happily, with full-social acceptance. Some of them are nakarmi-maharjan, shrestha-manandhar, shrestha-bajracharya, dongol-bajracharya, rajopadhyay-shrestha, maharjan-tuladhar, shahi-shrestha, byanjyankaar-amatya, shrestha-rajthalaa. Guthi in my tole has accepted girls from maharjan, shakya, darshandhari, maali, shrestha, rajbhandari, pradhan, pradhanang, suwal, manandhar. Some parents may not accept inter-cast, but the words like "burning a town" is totally unfounded. The intercast marriage was there in Newar community since a long time ago. In fact, the famous song Rajamati, Nepal's first official national anthem (well I feel funny to write this) presented in UK by JB Rana, also indicates this despite having hard-time to get accepted by the society.

"I hate this caste system caste in Nepal  my  caste is considered Upperclass, but in Newar community Im a Khe thats it KHE !! it cracks me up though, anyone know that Newars call us KHE? "
Could you elaborate why should it crack you up when a newar use his linguist word "Khay" representing "Khas" speaking people, that includes chettri like you? It is as simple as you calling my "newarni" wife. Although you say, you hate caste system, but you are still mentioning your upperclass position here, he he, pretty double standard, dude.

"we dont let this cast thing come between us, Nepal should abolish cast system"
That is good statement. FYI, more than 36 different societies of Newar caste, like Jyapu Samaj, Pun Samaj, Chhipaa Samaaj, Syasyah samaaj, etc. etc. came together and declared that the cast division of Jayasthiti Malla is nullified. Upper and lower Newar castes are not officially acceptable from now on. It might take sometime to witness widespread adoption of this declaration, but I am highly hopeful. Soon, there is going to be a giant Jhwoh bhoye where all caste people will seat and eat together without any caste-discrimination.
