Shantipriya,

Your comment shows you are losing your temper, you should not if you want to get your message pass through. I prefer civilized exchange of opinions rather than a$$-words.

"chana ko kura le sarai hass uthyo.......lol..are you what? I-word?"
If you speak maithali and tharu, you would know better, but my maithali and tharu friends have told me some derrogatory words they use against others. If you don't know how Sen, Marsya, Khen, Barmu words are evolved in Newa language, you should first try to find them, before calling me insane.
सँ देय  - the Newar word for northern country (tibet) --> सँमि / सँय  - people of north country --> सँय/ सें - short latest form used in oral communication
मध्यदेस - the middle region of southern plain -->  मह्रेस - newar form -->   मह्रेसिया   - people of that region -->  मर्सिया  - short latest form
खस् - the name of community --> खय - (y and s are interchangeable in Newar language when they appear in the end of noun) --> खँय / खें - short latest form
ब्राह्मण - the priestly people --> ब्रम्हु  - newar form of the same word --> बर्मु - short latest form
Also, Kasai or Kasaini are not Newar words. I don't use "Usha Kasaini" because Usha's choice is "Khadgi". If she prefers "Khadgi", you/me can't use "Kasaini" or any other words.

"and about KTM water supply, look..... polluted make sense?"
You first mentioned "we are just 5% of  population yet we .... have everything in KTM", I refuted and arguments are there above. If we find how many % of total water supply budget used in Newar core area in the last 50 years and how much water-tarriff is collected back by the government from the same area, we can compare this against the rest of Nepal. Then we will know the real picture. My friends working in Khanepani Bighag and Khanepani Sansthan have told me that the budget in development/maintenance/and operation of Water Supply in KTM is fewer than other area compared to per-capita basis.

I am surprised to see you writing baseless sentences like "no toilets (still go to thimi or bhaktapur you will still find same case)". Bro, please visit Thimi, Bhaktapur (you may dislike this request) to see that 99% houses are equipped with toilets. BTW Bhaktapur is cleaner than KTM and Patan these days.

"and about KTM outside knowledge, ....he is not khas, he is also a janajati. "
I don't need bragging. Some friends asked me about outside Newars' position, and I mentioned. Sending info about some scholar? You are very welcome. I respect scholars who have passion to have in-depth knowledge.

"and stop asking ... since 1990 OK now:-) "
Well, you should say only the truth. You mentioned that 6 miles away from KTM is miserably under-developed. That was true in my childhood. But now, you don't see difference between New Baneswor and Kaushaltar-Balkot.

"And since you are again and again questioning history.... including for their being dumb@@@.. "
Where did you find me asking about history in this thread? Please stop making your assumptions. Why JP Malla and PN Shahs are eating you up today?

"Newar should let go this defeated mentality ......your kind of Newars? "
I wonder why you think "Newar" (you mentioned you are proud to be) have 'defeated mentality'. The "defeated mentality" is the state of mind of someone who end-up doing nothing because he does not believe he can do it. For me, Newar, despite having diverse opinion, their commonality is that they work hard and they believe they can do it. Think about those amazing architect, art, and achievements of the past, and think about the achievements of present day Newars, you will not find "defeated mentality" prevail the society. You should understand that the US defeated Japan but did not ban Japanese language and culture in Japan. US did not force Japan to use English.  There were other aspects too, for example, China went to communist grip and US was having problem in Korea, so US had to work closely with Japan at that time. The mutual respect between US and Japan helped to move on and to work for mutual benefit. This sort of vision was lacking in Nepal as people are brainwashed to follow the ek-bhasa niti system. The power and synergy of diversity is totally ignored in Nepal. To speak for the power and synergy of diversity in multi-ethnic society is not "defeated mentality", which a Newar often does.

"Why should  I want to be ...... kind of people are exactly the same!"
Before using strong words like "radical extremist", check your judgement. "Radical extremism" does not allow equal right, equal opportunity, diversity, open debate and democracy. "Radical extremist thinking" takes you to authoritarian ruling, no space for people who do not agree with you. Did I ever argue banning Khas language in Nepal? NO. Did I ever argue forceful snatching the power from Khas rulers? NO. In Nepal, Khas rulers dominated all others in the past, which is close to radical extremism. I oppose the unitary domination and I argue we deserve the same respect that my Khas neighbor gets from the nation. I advocate for democratic, and gradual transition. You are not ready to understand this, you don't understand what you are writing, you don't understand what has been changed so far. That is quite typical of you, a typical KTM-Newar that I feel "bicharaa".

"...at least our new generation should think about rising above this caste/ ethnic mentality. We should learn to respect each other and cherish each other's culture rather than despise each other's. and Yes terobajee, newar (buddhist ) community do not like Shrestha " Sheshya" . ...,"
This is classic example of inconsistency with you, as you talk about rising above the cast/ethnic mentality. But as soon as you got a chance, you enjoy bashing some other newar caste/group. The most interesting point to observe is that you get padded by khas people for doing that. Well, I close my eye.

"Being newar I have pointed out few flaws that exists in our community, if not we who else will rectify that? god knows! Tomorrow, if my bramhin friend points out some flaws in his community, next day a tamang friend and so on  then this will  help unite us. This will teach us how to be recpetive and humble -not radical, racist and extremist. Each of our community has some flaws and great potential, lets remove the flaws first and move ahead. This is all I have to day"
It is good to point our flaws and correct them. I have fought hard against the caste-discrimination in Newars. My grandfather did not allow me to join Guthi because I ate tea at a Jogi's home. He did not like my Naay friends. He thought I should not learn hitting metal at Kau's Jyasah. I was not allowed to seat in Bhajan falchaa, I was not allowed to touch Chhatra, but I continued my way of correction. I know how hard it was to fight with your own flaws.  Today, I feel we are in better position. We need to begin improving from ourselves, but we don't need to demoralize ourselves and make a subject of fun in the name of pointing out our flaws. Like us, many others do have problem, which all need correction by increasing awareness not by excluding or alienating them from the mainstream system. We need demanding our right that we deserve with unitary-khas-rulers as much as we need improving ourselves from inside.
