Rahulvai, I could not understand what you are trying to say. I think, you are trying to show BP koirala was an epitome of Nepalese patriotism. How is it logical to brand K I Singh as a chinese dog?

Dr. Kunwar Indrajit Singh (his surname was not kunwar as you have writeen, it was his title only, he was a thakuri) was a homeopathy practitioner and ex-indian army. He joined NC to participate in the armed revolt that was going to be launched for the overture of rana regime. He was dissatisfied from the very begining with the selection of Matrika , an ignorant of the warfare and weapons, as a supreme commander.  During the bairaganiya sammelan (not very sure about the place??) of NC to discuss about the revolt he grilled Matrika by questioning very practical questions of warfare like if matrika knew the length of bullet in 303 rifles.

During revolution, he was stationed in Bhairahawa, only where real clash between rana favoring army and NC’s mukti sena had happened. This clash took lives of many NC cadres. He was still in the middle of war when BP faction of NC declared armistice with rana and was busy signing 1950 Dehli treaty. He was even more furious with this power hunger of Koiralas. He felt deceived by koiralas because he wanted total uprooting of rana regime and abolition of any remnant of it. However, koiralas were hasty to be in Mohan Sumsher led government. So, he did not surrender. But, he was captured and imprisoned in the vigilance of Bijuli Garad. He was so influential that he succeeded to convince all the soldiers and officer of that battalion. With the help of bijuli garad he tried an unsuccessful coup against Koiralas. Rest of the story you have shown.

It’s an irony that you highlighted BP as the most patriotic person. He was more power monger than Mohan Sumsher. After the expiration of interim government led by Mohan Sumser, BP tried to become next Mohan sumsher. He even did not endure his own elder brother Matrika for PM chair. Just because of him Matrika left NC. He sidelined all the influential leaders of NC who contributed heavily for the upbringing of NC and it’s revolt. Mahendra Bikram Shah (not king Mahendra), Subarna Sumsher(financer of the revolt), Surya PD. Upadhyaya all were marginalized. He was the person who tried to bar Nepal’s appeal in UN to get membership. His famous Rastriya Melmilap niti was an aftermath of failed relation with Indira Gandhi and India. His young brother, notorious GP Koirala, in his (BP’s) presence, demanded 5000 gorkha soldiers to Indira Gandhi to attack  Nepal to depose king Birendra. GP has mentioned this in his autobiography.  Do you still claim he was the most nationalistic person?

If it’s just a STORY based on a historical incident, then I do not have anything to say. But is it okay to anathematize K I Singh as CHINESE DOG without exploring his other dimensions ? He was lot better a man of principle than BP and rest of koirala block. Yes, I agree, Ganeshman was really a patriot. Undoubtedly. And accept my kudos to your brilliant writing style. Keep going !!
