You have good points but there are few other things to consider too.
There are many people in kathmandu who listen to american hip hop rap and are celebrating christmas but that does not mean America is trying to take over nepal.
Reality of the situation is that we love to have choice. There aren't a lot of choice as far as Nepali music so nepalis end up listening to hindi music and some english music.
If Nepal government was organized and functional they could have set up a good framework for development of nepal, nepalis, our music, our movies but all they care is looting nepal so consequently Nepalis have to turn to entertainment from india. So more than india we have to blame the incompetent politicians first.
