network network network. Dont be shy.. you have nothing to lose by being outgoing and getting to know other people...  And how you present yourself and leave a first impression matters as well.
Like Kaji Sahab said 80% of jobs are unannounced and the only way to get them is by networking. Trust me guys... networking is the best way to find a job.. not by applying online... Your application will be lost in a jungle of resumes they receive everyday. its useless. If you know someone who works for the company, a simple recommendation might just land you a job.
