I did not want to interfere in the hot debate and discussions of you guys, on the topic of your interest but scanning through some of the comments written here pushed me to write a few sentences :

(1) Everyone thinks that he or she is doing the best at his/her level and hardly sees anything wrong in his/her work.

(2) There is nothing wrong to put forward your views in sajha.com no matter whether you are a high school going student or a PhD holder. Anyways it is a good forum to give your quick views on current topic of interests in Nepali communities who have approached it and known about it.

(3) 'Ask not what your country can do for you—ask what you can do for your country.' - John F. Kennedy. My point is that think good and work better so that you can harvest the best. It is not someone else who can make your future but it is you and only you who is responsible for your well-being, no matter whether you are in the home country or elsewhere.

(4) Getting a job of a professor or some other reputed post in the USA or elsewhere is not easy but if you have good credentials and good connections, it is not impossible either.  There are a lot of Nepali people who have assumed good positions in reputed places -universities, national labs, etc in the so called developed countries.

(5) I think it is better to think twice before you post something on a public website. Once it is published, it goes to the public and situation becomes different. It is said that  'it is better to talk correct than to correct the talk.'  Also putting your views in nice words will definitely earn more than what you do the same thing in a rough way.

Happy New Year 2011 !  May this year bring peace and prosperity in the world !
