A VERY MEANINGFUL QUESTION ABOUT YOUR LIFE IF YOU THINK ABOUT IT

It is true, the Buddha said, that life is a suffering. Being an immigrant and a student, the quote is even more true. You have to deal with getting a job without EAD, finding enough time for school assignments, passing the classes to maintain visa status, job hunting in aftermath of Economic Pearl Harbor, H-1, GC and the whole nine. Unfortunately, all that seems to be getting more and more of a hazy dream with even the fellow Americans struggling to find a job.

A lot of people I know had far more care-free lives back in Nepal since they have either a thriving family business or a decent real estate income stream. All they had to do was - comply with their parent expectations which can sound absurd at times. People with resources could go home and pursue their own little dreams that they have a good shot at by utilizing their US experience. The rest of you, I am sorry, you are kinda stuck here, you have to deal with it and attain your goals anyhow; Just don't do anything that is plain illegal or something that could get you in deep sh*t.

Lennon said there's no problem only solutions. Likewise, if you are a little creative without any regard for what others might say or think, you can solve a lot of your problems all at once. Think and act like you are in America. If I may also add,  Lagasse said life does not hand you things you have to go out there and make things happen for you. The year and the (lost) decade is coming to an end and when else could be a better time to reflect and create one's resolutions as we step into the new unknown fourth-dimension.
