Three more years to complete her doctorate and she is hired to do post doc in the same university. Her Green card was approved within three months after she enrolled for post doc.

Bottomline is, it took her four and half years to complete her masters and phd to find a post doc job with a green card. I bet it is worth a gamble than asswiping people like Niniti who send you to Alaska in the Month of January only to transfer you to Flagstaff next July.
