No one is perfect. I am sure Ms. Koirala has made a lot of mistakes and has done more than a few things that others might perceive unsuitable for someone of her stature ( Anuradha Koirala is in many ways a Mother Teresa like figure in Nepal). But the bottom line is no one can dispute the fact that she has done a lot of good. She has helped rescue a lot of girls and rehabilitate them. I , a non-contributing zero who has never helped rescue even 1 girl, would feel ashamed to criticize Ms. Koirala. Having said that, if someone thinks there is a better cause and a more deserving person then they should be free to vote for that person. Just 'coz Ms. Koirala is a Nepali doesn't mean we have to vote for her. This award is about humanity it has nothing to do with nationality.
