My particular pet-peeve is when I ask someone, "Where are you from?" Hoping that I met a Nepali, and it turns out that it is an Indian.

And then the Indian will answer, "I am from India." And then he will look at me like, 'Why are you asking stupid questions?' And say, "Aren't you from India?"

And then I will very proudly say, "No, I am from Nepal." And then the biscuit brain will shrug me off and say, "India, Nepal, what's the difference?"

One of these days I will tell them: "The difference is that India is like a house filled with people without water. And Nepal is the water tank on top of India that makes sure that people in your house don't die of thirst."
